Danny Welbeck is not happy about his lack of goals

Danny Welbeck is one of the players who are being viewed as the future stars for England along with: Luke Shaw, Ross Barkley, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. Welbeck however has not been able to live up to all of the expectations that is being built around him in the media.

During his time in Manchester United, Welbeck was able to score 20 Premier League goals in 6 years. Things haven’t exactly been improving after joining Arsenal as the 24 year old English forward struggles to score goals on a consistent basis and it can be seen by his performances and statistics of this season where he has scored 4 league goals in 25 appearances.

Welbeck is well aware that he isn’t going through the best of times but he wants to change that and he is certain that the goals will start arriving in abundance in the future.

"I've been a bit unhappy with goals at club level but it is something that I know will come in abundance in the future. I'm pretty sure of that so hopefully the goals will come.I've had quite a few good performances where I haven't scored a goal and if I had, things would be different.I'm happy about the move to Arsenal and I think things will go well for me in the future.’’ That was the statement of Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck as he revealed his thirst for goals.

Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud have been the main attacking outlets of Arsenal in this season but Danny Welbeck wants to become a reliable goal-scoring option for his team and help them win major titles including the Premier League silverware which Arsenal has not won since the 2003-04 season which was over 10 years ago.
